perfume and cologne
If you're travelling by plane, train or bus, it can be considered rude to wear perfume or cologne because it poses a threat to anyone with breathing sensitivities or diseases. Perfume and cologne are losing popularity with the rise in indoor plumbing and bathing, so be future-proof and ditch the fragrances. It's not worth the luggage spill risk.

cleansers with microbeads
Exfoliating cleansers and scrubs with microbeads are terrible for marine life. Fish and other creatures think the tiny plastic beads are food and end up dying from ingesting the debris. As a global citizen, reducing pollutants is in everybody's best interest.
